I have three loves in my Life. First is my Lord Jesus Christ (Paschal Mystery), My wife (Eva Guzman) and my Baptismal calling given to me by my God (Youth Ministry). I enjoy being with people especially hanging out with the young generation of teens that have more energy than life itself. I enjoy sharing the good news to anyone that will listen to me. I enjoy to see people smile even if it is just by hearing me speak in Spanenglish and listening to my dumb jokes. I enjoy sports but I'd rather play than sit in front of a box (tv) and get fluffier and wrinkled. I was born in San Ignacio, Mexico and came to the U.S.A at the age of about 9 years of age. I graduated from Hart High School in Hart, Texas and moved to Plainview, Texas where I married Eva Castillo. Graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and Marketing coupled with my work experience has provided me with a strong foundation in developing interpersonal skills, a sense of purpose and goal orientation. I have received my Theology of Catholic Youth Ministry Certificate Program from the Franciscan University/Life Teen and I’m presently working in receiving my Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies from The Center of Ministry Development. At this time I'm the Diocesan Youth Director for the Diocese of Amarillo and developing the organization to the fullness of Covenant Teen My social experience has implanted in me the importance of oral and written communication both in English and Spanish and has enabled me to develop a cordial working relationship with colleagues. |
